Many of you will remember painter and musician. Chris Liddiard, who was the founder and creator of the first Little Arts Festival in 2016. Chris was sadly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and died in 2018. We will be making a donation of £500 in his memory from the festival legacy fund to the Hailsham branch of Parkinson’s UK, to help support their programme of regular singing and dance sessions. These sessions are delivered by professionals, and have been proven to improve voice, coordination and mobility which is vital for people living with Parkinson’s. The donation will be used to buy equipment to promote the sessions at social events, with the aim of increasing the number of participants who can benefit from these important activities.
