The organisers of the ‘IN YOUR OWN WORDS’ poetry and prose session have been thrilled by the response from local writers offering to come to the session to share their ideas. The afternoon session from 2.00pm in the Dunn Village Hall, on Sunday 28th September promises to offer the audience an intriguing collection of authentic, and often very personal, works by local writers. The poetry spans all manner of styles and subject matter. Most of the works will be read by the writers themselves, and there will be an opportunity to talk to them after the session – over a tea, coffee or maybe a drink from the bar. Everyone is very welcome to attend this unique event, which is Free entry.
